Hochstein not appeals not only to World Cup racers, but also to ambitious hobby skiers. The skiing area features an outrageously long downhill track: from the top station at 1988 metres a.s.l. you can carve down right into town (668 metres a.s.l.).

The combination lift (eight-seate gondola and six-seater chairlift) is very popular, especially among families with young children. In the most easy and comfortable way you can reach the Moosalm area, where you will find a gently sloped area, equipped with a platter lift. Hochstein represents the ideal skiing area for parents who want to enjoy enchanting and challeging slopes, while the kids can have their own fun in the children's slope area.
