Die SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental ist Österreichs größtes zusammenhängendes und beschneites Skigebiet und steht immer wieder am „Stockerl“ bei internationalen Skitests.
Insgesamt drei neue 8er-Gondelbahnen heben Skifahrer ab dem Winter 2008/09 in neue Höhen.
WESTENDORF:
neue 8er-Gondelbahn von der Windau auf die Choralpe
BRIXEN IM THALE:
neue Talstation mit Brücke über die Brixental Bundesstraße.
Eine Weltneuheit ist der Verbindungs-Schlepplift „Sonnenlift“ zur neuen Talstation, der ausschließlich mit Solarenergie betrieben wird! 8er-Gondelbahn „SkiWelt-Kitzbüheler Alpen“ auf die Westendorfer Choralpe. Das bedeutet durchgehendes Skivergnügen von einem SkiWelt-Ort zum nächsten ohne Umsteigen auf einen Shuttlebus.
HOPFGARTEN:
neue 8er-Gondelbahn „Salvenbahn II“ mit Sitzheizung in Hopfgarten auf die Hohe Salve
SÖLL:
neue kuppelbare 6er-Sesselbahn „Siller-Keat“ mit Sitzheizung und Haube (Verbindung Söll, Brixen und Scheffau)
„Irrsinnig schneesicher“: Wilder Kaiser und 1.000 Kanonen
Die SkiWelt ist durch den Wilden Kaiser mit besonders viel Naturschnee gesegnet.
Von den 210 beschneibaren Pistenkilometern sind 110 km innerhalb von nur 3 Tagen in reines Weiß getaucht.
